A bit of fun on our last day in Bali and a trip to Waterbom Park, a big water park near Seminyak where we are staying. Plenty of water slides, pools and other rides was a good way to spend the day.
Afterwards we went to a big shopping mall opposite which even had a Boots and Marks and Spencers.
The trip to Bali and Lombok has been enjoyable, think we prefered Lombok as it was more of an adventure, Bali had some nice scenery but we weren’t too keen on some resorts which were a bit too touristy but both islands are worth visiting.

Its funny now you go to places abroad and still see some local supermarkets it really is a global market nowadays which is good.
There’s very few areas now that haven’t been made touristy its understandable as these places can make money so I don’t blame them for that, in a few year the out of the way places you went to will probably be tourist spots, explorers and travel companies are always looking for that new place so soon they’ll be very few places left to explore. But thats fine there are still lots of places to go to.
You’ve had a great trip and its something you can look back on with joy and pleasure so its not too bad. Whats been the best bit of the trip for you?
Its going to be hard at the beginning when you come back you’ll probably find it boring here compared to what you’ve seen in the last few months, but you’ll quickly get used to it.
We’ve had an offer on the flat accepted and have put in an offer on a house in Hitchin in Hertfordshire.
Its crazy really for the price of our flat in London with one double bedroom and a tiny second, we can buy a 3 bed house with Garden for roughly the same price 20 odd miles up the road.
Great win for you you look a decent side and have a better manager as well I think.

Back home now.
Will update the blog with the final entries, quite busy though as you can imagine sorting all stuff out that has accumulated whilst we were away, so I’ll write a longer email in a few days.
Think the best bit of the trip was New Zealand for the scenery it was amazing, but all parts of the trip were worthwhile.
Well done on the flat thats good news, let me know if you get the offer accepted. Would it be easy enough to get to work and in to London from Hitchin?
We’ll have to have a night out in the centre soon we can arrange that if you like.
